Quality. The proof is in the awards.
Vernon Green consistently wins awards for excellence, including:
The Best of the Best Award as the facility of the year in the nursing home category. It is given by Market Surveys of America, a firm that conducts public opinion polls throughout New England and has been a BBB Accredited Business since 1998.
The 2015 Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award given to Executive Director Brad Ellis by the American College of Health Care Administrators. Of the thousands considered across the nation, only 257 administrators met the requirements. Further, Brad was one of 227 leaders who received the award with virtual recognition, which takes into account rigorous facility quality and performance measures.
The Vermont Quality Award for 2015 given by Vermont’s Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living. The Green was one of five nursing homes chosen from the 37 nursing homes in Vermont to be recognized for high standards of quality care.
The 2013 Excellence in Action Award from National Research Corporation in the Customer Category for outstanding resident and family satisfaction based on their feedback. NRC monitors comments that senior communities receive regarding service, performance and overall satisfaction.
These awards say a lot about the consistent quality of care that residents and their families can expect at Vernon Home. Further proof: Federal and state regulators found Vernon Green deficiency-free during its 2014 inspection, reflecting the highest standards of care.
